At Basement, our community is a core tent of our operation. Our top priority is to ensure that community can consistently enjoy an event that is fun, safe and inclusive week in and out. To help create this atmosphere, we kindly ask that everyone brings a self that contributes to that community.

• Respect others: Refrain from disrespectful comments, unsolicited advances, uninvited touching, and any form of verbal or physical aggression.
• Respect our team: Show patience and courtesy to all staff, including security, hosts, and bar staff.
• Support our DJs: Our artists are here to ensure a great night for everyone. Please avoid negative commentary, throwing objects, or touching the DJ or equipment. Also, be mindful of drinks around the setup.

If you experience or witness any inappropriate behaviour or feel uncomfortable at any time, please inform either venue or event staff.
